How long have you been a member of Roc City Rotary?
I joined a year and a half ago. Even with everything virtual at the time, I could tell this was an exciting group.
Why did you join Roc City Rotary?
I joined Roc City immediately after moving to Rochester. I’ve always known of Rotary as an amazing service organization and I couldn’t pass up the chance to join one full of young professionals that can also introduce me to my new home.
What do you enjoy most about volunteering?
For volunteering in general, I enjoy the chance to help communities near and far while also meeting people with all different backgrounds. With Roc City, there are so many different opportunities to help out around the community. The org does an amazing job finding ways to utilize everyone’s skills to give back to Rochester.

A cellphone to call my friends and family anywhere

One thing you would tell your 13-year-old self, what would it be?
Stop being so scared to get out into the world! And do the Rotary Exchange Program.
What’s something about you (a fun fact) that not many people know?
I was a great soap box derby driver as a kid.
